more: soup inclusion into google plus

MattisManzel:
I’ve got the inclusion of facebook goups into wiki working these days - see the page community-wiki - groups about community-wiki - and I want more. Namely the inclusion of the soup of a wiki into the google plus account for the wiki and, similar to how I’m doing it on facebook, the inclusion of a page thinner than the soup, for example face and talk and web-site list, into the google plus page for the wiki. How to do that?

I found a few things probably pointing in that direction:

Let’s say the google reader for a wiki would import its soup only (I imported more but likely will have to drop that idea). You can manually post from google reader to several services after activating them in the send to menu. Google plus is not in this menu but you can add it.

Manually triggered posting works as you see on the page community-wiki - google plus community-wiki. How can I now make google reader post into google plus automatically?

The other idea: I have a wordpress blog for a wiki. It is triggered by ifttt and includes the soup of the wiki. There is (or there are attempt for) a wordpress to google plus plug-in.
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wpgplus/

The wordpress blogs for the wikis are on wordpress.com which unfortunately doesn’t allow plugins, I realized. :(

Blogger to google plus seems another option. Iftt triggers blogger fine.

So far the noodles. Ideas?

changes and recent changes

MattisManzel:
Inspired when working on the [[community-wiki?]]: Keep the traditional name RecentChanges for what I called changes, direct on KaboWiki:WhoRThey/ChangesDirect. To do.

appropriate to develop the whole ‘one big soup / wiki-net’ idea

MattisManzel:
I’ve recently worked on the whoRthey-wiki. It aggregates the wikis in the one big soup and is the wiki to maintain the hopefully growing soup. To develop the whole one big soup / wiki-net idea on the other hand this wiki - named ‘wiki-net’ - seems appropriate to me.

One important thing in order to attain beauty, simplicity, symmetry (no fear: the chaos will finally bend it all) is that the central plain oddmuse driven page of a wiki should be called ChangesDirect. The page called Changes includes the changes-feed. I first applied that in the whoRthey-wiki yesterday, fun.

minor problems

MattisManzel:
Currently there’s a problem with the wikis MathieuCoste:PageFront and EmptyWiki:FrontPage. I can not figure out why the BannedContent, BannedHosts and BannedRegexps in the administration menu are links - while in the other odd-wikis they currently aren’t. Clicking it says “Cannot open /var/www/vhosts/oddwiki.org/data/EmptyWiki/page/B/BannedContent?.pg: No such file or directory” The maintenance won’t finish for the same reason either when running.
