Darkness.
darn scientists, ruining the riddle… They can now see darkness. As nothing is n absolute lack of light, except for a dark hole, or empty space… which technically can’t be called darkness, because it’s actually lack of anything that could be dark…
The answer should be Silence. It makes perfect sense. You’re not laughing when you’re silent, a hole is silent, after death there is silence, etc.
So true, should be silence. Also, does darkness kill laughter even? Some people may still laugh in pitch-black rooms as well.
Gravity
I thought silence as well
You can hear silence, though. At the very least you can perceive it with your ears.
But silence doesn’t fit the description of “comes first, and follows after”. The first thing that comes, at least in life, is the ear-piercing scream of a baby having its bum smacked! I agree that darkness doesn’t necessarily kill laughter. However I would argue that just because scientists can measure darkness doesn’t mean they can see it, seeing still means using your eyes!!
I thought it could be a gas or something…
i thought it was a shadow
What about …. death ?I don’t mean death as a dead body I mean death as itself . IT kills laughter It can’t be felt You can’t hear it You can’t smell it It came before and it will always follow
