  Nell’ambito della mostra “Armenia. Impronte di una civiltà”, la [[Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana]], organizza un ciclo d’incontri intitolato '''Giornate armene in Marciana''', dedicato ad approfondire singole tematiche della storia, dell’arte e della cultura armene. Gli incontri si svolgeranno nell’Antisala della Libreria Sansoviniana ([[Piazzetta San Marco]] 13/a, [[Venezia]]), con ingresso libero fino ad esaurimento dei posti disponibili.
  
  Il primo incontro si svolgerà lunedì 13 febbraio, alle ore 17.00 e avrà per titolo “Mostra-re l’Armenia. Come?”. L’architetto Alberto Torsello, che ha ideato e realizzato l’allestimento della mostra, illustrerà le tematiche legate alla progettazione in ambito espositivo. Saluto del Direttore della Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana. Introduzione di Vartan Karapetian, curatore della mostra (insieme a Boghos Levon Zekiyan e Gabriella Uluhogian).
  
  “Armenia. Impronte di una civiltà” è un viaggio, ma, come tutti i viaggi le insidie sono dietro l'angolo così come le scoperte. Quali i principi, i metodi, le soluzioni e i dubbi per allestire una mostra costruita negli spazi di tre istituzioni? ([[Museo Correr]], [[Museo Archeologico]], [[Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana]]). Allestire per mostrare e non mostrare per allestire. Un impegno che comporta prima di tutto sintesi tra contenuto e contenente, con in mezzo, la fatica di tradurre la complessità di una antica cultura in un messaggio semplice e chiaro, comprensibile.
