nigger. - concept invented in the colonial laws a couple hundred years back. you may be surpised to learn, ppl in fact actually have ethnicities. race (then was an unjust system of black and white. a picture of race in the US now is quite [[potentially?]] a picture of every ethnicity on earth.) but the major US consciousness amuses me cuz it’s still not terribly cognizant of the racial makeup of the world.
race was codified by law and is now according to some anthro or other scientists considered to be a social construction in absolutist terms. I don’t know what randall kennedy would say about what I just said.
