Hans Wobbe, at DataFix, focuses on providing specialized information technology services that are the best available value, to as few Clients as possible, in mutually benefical relationships.
Hans has done this since the start of his career in 1969 in the University of Waterloo’s state of the art computing center, by continuously improving his skilled applications of computer and related technologies to the problems of Business and Government, and by creating co-operative relationships amongst Clients.
- “I strive to have as few Clients as possible, so I can provide better Value to those that I serve.” Hans Wobbe is an entrepreneur (in the Joseph Wp:Schumpeter sense), interested in productivity, and especially collaboration. A current focus is the efficient publication of information, using wiki technologies, independent of media. Hans was educated as a Mechanical Engineer, graduating from the University of Waterloo in 1972, after concurrently working as a Consultant for the University’s Computing Center and the Engineering faculty’s Numerical Weather Prediction programs. Currently he serves as President of DataFix and has completed serving as a member of the Board of Directors of NAMMU responsible for their Data Management & Privacy portfolio.
