Thanks for maintaining this useful site, and for maintaining Oddmuse. Unfortunately, I started a wiki – named JasonSpiro – on it without reading the Warning on the homepage. I put in some notes for myself about how to do Canadian income taxes which I would like back. My wiki was last modified around the end of 2007. www.archive.org doesn’t have a copy.

1. Do you happen to have an archived copy of my notes? If so, could you please provide them for me? The whole wiki would be ideal, but just the page with notes about income taxes would be fine.

2. Could you please put more warnings about inactive wikis being deleted? I suggest you put warnings:

a) on the Startup page;

b) and also on the action=edit page, so those who’ve already started up their wikis will see the warnings too.

I’m sorry about that. I don’t keep older backups.

If you look at older wikis marked for deletion on the Status page – such as BierundTussen:HomePage – you’ll see a big fat red warning at the top. I think that’s good enough; I don’t think we need to show this warning for every wiki, all the time. Perhaps we should add it to DefaultHomePage and its various translations…
