The Forum shows all day pages in a line (newest on top).
MattisManzel: Alex, http://www.communitywiki.org/odd/MattisManzel?action=history;id=RecentChanges. Someone did something to the recent changes of my personal wiki, now it hopelessly redirects to community-wiki's rc's. No idea how to undo it. Could you?
- Yes. The problem was that you never created a page called RecentChanges, and you installed NearLinks. Thus, whenever somebody visited RecentChanges, they got redirected to RecentChanges on the NearMap. I now created MattisManzel:RecentChanges, and therefore the NearMap is no longer consulted. (RecentChanges shows the list of recent changes even if the page itself does not exist – it just appends them to the default text – "Describe the new page here.") – Alex
This feature of having a single day-page that automatically adds on top of the forum is way cool btw :) Maybe something like I added on top here on all day pages?
- I'm too lazy. Can't you just put a link to the Forum into your SideBar? – Alex
can I get the recent visitors/ recent readers feature for [[coolheadz?]]? KennCattell
- I would prefer a setup with as little extensions as reasonably possible, so that people can migrate their sites away, add more extensions, and be positively surprised. Basically the point is that if you need more extensions, the time for Migration has come. – Alex
right on. where can I learn about how that type of extension would work? what's it called? is there a page about it on OddMuse?
- That would be the Oddmuse:Big Brother Extension. – Alex
how ominous. thankz. Kenn
